The Main School is open every day except Sundays. It is located at 8 Hampton Terrace in the West End of the City between Roseburn & Haymarket on the A8.
Accommodation provides two contrasting studios, a modern reception and waiting area, changing room facilities for girls and boys, the school office, the wardrobe department and the school shop kiosk.
Studio One is undoubtably one of the largest dance studios in the city, complete with barres at varying heights and a 25ft wide mirrored wall. Studio Two is more intimate in size but also with barres and mirrors. Both studios are equipped with pianos for live music.
The school shop sells ballet uniform, outdoor wear and a variety of school accessories & memorabilia. A selection of refreshments and snacks are available from the kiosk. Hot drinks are available at anytime by self service- coffees, teas and hot chocolate!
Classes operate every day of the week and waiting lists are in operation for most days. Intake to classes continues year round but early application is recommended.

CAR PARKING AT BRANCHES
Please note that we are tenants at all of our branches and it is therefore the operators of the venues that make rulings on parking. Parking is NOT available within the grounds at any of our branches, including the Main School.
For us to maintain good relations, we insist all parents/guardians must respect the wishes of the venues and to find alternative parking in the surrounding streets.
It is dangerous for traffic to be moving at these venues when there are so many children coming in and out of classes.
CAR PARKING AT MAIN SCHOOL
Parking is not permitted at ANY TIME on the forecourt at the front of the Main School building. Parking is not permitted in the visitors car park to the right hand side of the building as this car park belongs to the Scottish Bible Society. Free parking is available on street directly outside, but only outwith the greenways operating hours. Ample on street Pay & Display parking is avalable in the streets opposite the school at Wester Coates.
The Manor School of Ballet will accept no responsibility whatsoever for cars ticketed or towed from the greenways
ACCESS TO CLASS
In the absence of a branch secretary or where classes may run into late evening you may find locked doors at our locations. Please use the doorbells or entry systems that are in place to gain entry. Classes would only be cancelled in extreme circumstances and notification will be made.
