Jemma Crawford (M.U.K.A, HND IN DANCE)
Teaching staff - Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Ballet
Jemma started her dancing career at the age of 3 with Steps Dance School where she studied disco, rock n roll and Latin American.
After catching the theatre bug at 8 years old she performed in some local amateur shows. She decided to further her knowledge of dance and joined the Manor School of Ballet at 15yrs old. Upon leaving High School she took the opportunity to study dance and after 3 years full-time training at Edinburgh's Telford College, she gained her HND in Professional Stage Dance. At the same time she successfully gained her teaching certificate with the United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing
Jemma has a variety of teaching experience out with The Manor School of Ballet, including Active Schools, choreographing for the Edinburgh Gang Show and being the Dance Instructor for Camp Hillcroft in New York, USA.
Jemma returned to the Manor School to join the teaching staff in 2011. Her enthusiasm and boundless energy delights and engages the pupils wherever she goes. We are delighted to have her on board.
