Michelle Dickson (M.U.K.A)
Teaching staff - Jazz, Tap, Highland


Michelle started dancing at the age of 8 with the Debra-Ann school of Dancing. She has competed in tap, jazz and ballet at numerous dance festivals across Scotland. Michelle has also competed in Highland dancing in Canada and throughout the U.K.


In 1991, Michelle completed her teaching qualification with the U.K.A.


Michelle has remained with the Debra-Ann school of dancing, assisting her mentor and gaining experience in teaching dance to children from pre-school to teenagers. She also spent a year in Al Ain (United Arabs Emirates) teaching dance and exercise to children and adults.


During her career, Michelle has danced in various shows including the Capital Moat House Highland show in Edinburgh with the late Andy Stewart (The White Heather Club).


Michelle primarily teaches jazz, tap and highland at all levels, however, she is often found taking the occasional ballet class.


We are very pleased to have Michelle on the teaching staff.
