Natalie Marks (A.R.A.D, B.A Theatre Dance - Classical Ballet)
Teaching staff - Senior & Adult Ballet

Natalie received her early training with Mary Darke in her hometown of Glasgow, becoming a Junior and Senior Associate of Scottish Ballet before obtaining a full scholarship from London Studio Centre.

In London she worked with Margaret Barbieri and David Ashmole and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Theatre Dance (Classical Ballet). Natalie then toured the UK with the Images of Dance Company before joining Teater Vanemuine in Estonia where she performed in Giselle, Midsummer Nights Dream, Onegin, Nutcracker, Peer Gynt, Alice in Wonderland, amongst others, travelling throughout Russia, Finland, Latvia and Lithuania. Natalie also appeared with the Vanemuine Opera company in Rigoletto and Die Fledermaus and with the Vanemuine Musical Theatre Company in Chess and Evita. She was also chosen to dance in a gala in the presence of the President of Estonia.

On returning to the UK, Natalie completed the RAD Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma and graduated in the Summer of 2011.

She now teaches RAD Ballet, Repertoire and Master Classes to vocational students, as well as Adult Ballet. In 2015 she also began teaching at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

On a fun note, Natalie was a Miss Scotland finalist in 2008.

Natalie joined the team in 2012 and has become a popular member of staff with our senior pupils. We are delighted to have her on board.
